Hi Everyone We've been very busy sacrificing waistlines in the pursuit of venues for our great bash in October. We have tasted and sipped our way around Mosman and Middle Head. Jenny and I also did the walk from Taronga to Chowder Bay. The Asopa site is in the process of renovation and has been gutted, presumably for asbestos removal. The site manager says it should be finished by June and then leased out. The lovely old residence opposite the Navy gates is now a cafe come restaurant with wonderful views over Asopa, Balmoral and the Heads. Looking forward to seeing you all in October.
Using the blog for non-urgent messages is a good idea. Fewer emails in the inbox! Don't forget the website www.asopa6970.com ; I can put up any photos, menus, maps, information, etc.
